Ironwood Dog Training
Last updated: July 18, 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.ironwooddogtraining.com and any related content, features, or forms (collectively, the "Site"), operated by Ironwood Dog Training ("Ironwood," "we," "us," or "our"), located in Phoenix, Arizona. By accessing or using the Site, you ("you" or "user") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site.
We may update or revise these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Who May Use the Site
The Site is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By submitting any form on the Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or are using the Site with a parent or guardian's permission.
3. Services, Bookings, and Scheduling
The Site provides information about Ironwood's dog training programs (including puppy training, basic and advanced obedience, board and train, and competition training) and allows you to request more information or a consultation through our contact form or by phone or email.
Submitting a form on the Site is a request for information or a booking inquiry — it does not by itself guarantee an appointment, enrollment, or availability. Specific pricing, scheduling, cancellation, and payment terms for any training program will be confirmed directly with you, separately from this Site, before any service begins.
4. Assumption of Risk — Dog Training Services
Dog training, including obedience work, socialization, and behavior modification, involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of bites, scratches, falls, property damage, or other injury to people, dogs, or other animals. Participation in any Ironwood training program is voluntary, and by enrolling your dog in any Ironwood program, or by attending any session, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for these inherent risks on behalf of yourself and your dog.
You are responsible for disclosing your dog's known behavioral history, medical conditions, and any history of aggression or bite incidents before training begins, and for keeping your dog properly restrained, vaccinated, and under control except as directed by our trainer during a session. Ironwood is not a veterinary provider; nothing on this Site or provided during training is a substitute for advice from a licensed veterinarian, and you should consult your veterinarian with any health or medical concerns about your dog before and during training.
5. No Guaranteed Outcomes
Ironwood uses evidence-based, positive-reinforcement training methods, and our trainers bring significant experience and education to every program. That said, every dog is an individual, and behavior change depends on many factors outside our control, including consistency at home. We do not guarantee specific results, timelines, or outcomes from any training program, and any testimonials, case studies, or examples on the Site reflect individual experiences that may not be typical or predictive of your results.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, photographs, videos, logos, and the overall design — is owned by Ironwood or used with permission and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and share pages of the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
7. Photos, Videos, and Testimonials
From time to time, we may photograph or video dogs and clients during training for use on our website, social media, or marketing materials. If you do not want your dog or session content used in this way, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate your preference. We will honor any reasonable request not to use identifiable photos or videos of you or your dog for marketing purposes. Any testimonials or success stories shared with us may be used, in whole or in part, on the Site or in marketing, with identifying details adjusted or removed at your request.
8. Acceptable Use
When using the Site, you agree that you will not:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, or federal law
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the Site
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems or networks
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code, or interfere with the Site's normal operation
- Scrape, harvest, or collect information about other users or visitors of the Site
- Impersonate Ironwood, our staff, or any other person or entity
9. Third-Party Links and Content
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services (for example, social media platforms, maps, or scheduling tools) for your convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of third-party sites. Including a link does not imply our endorsement of that site. You access third-party sites at your own risk and are encouraged to review their own terms and privacy policies.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. While we make reasonable efforts to keep information on the Site accurate and current, we do not warrant that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that any information on the Site is accurate, complete, or current.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ironwood Dog Training and its owners, trainers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site — regardless of the legal theory on which such a claim is based, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit liability in ways not permitted under applicable law, including any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Arizona law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ironwood Dog Training and its owners, trainers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
13. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect information you provide to us:
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Before initiating any formal legal action, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can try to resolve the issue informally and in good faith.
15. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any separate written service agreement you sign with us, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ironwood regarding your use of the Site.
16. Changes to the Site or These Terms
We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site, or these Terms, at any time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Site after any changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
