Do you offer dog agility training?

Ironwood can work on foundations that may support future agility goals, such as focus, body awareness, handler communication, confidence, and introductory obstacle work when appropriate. Contact us to discuss whether your specific agility goal fits the program’s current scope.

Is advanced training only for dog competitions?

No. Some clients want competitive obedience training or Rally preparation, while others simply want more precise work, stronger focus, or a new challenge with their dog.

What competition skills can we work on?

Depending on your level and goals, training may address precision heeling, fronts, finishes, retrieves, engagement, transitions, handler timing, and ring preparation. If AKC Obedience is your goal, its official Obedience classes and exercises guide is a useful reference.

Is Competition Training right for my dog?

Ironwood’s Advanced obedience training may be appropriate if your dog has a working foundation and you want greater precision, focus, control, or more challenging skills. A consultation helps determine whether Advanced Training or Basic Obedience is the better starting point.
